No matter what anybody says, not all games on the schedule are equal. This couldn't be more true than this weekend's game between the Packers and Vikings. It's worth 3! For starters, if the Packers win, each team will have 2 losses. With the Vikings heading into their bye week, if the Packers take care of business in Tampa Bay as expected, both teams will be 6-2 at the midway point of the season and they will have split their 2 head-to-head meetins. However, if the Vikes win, the Packers will have 3 losses to the Vikings 1 and the Vikings will have swept the season series, meaning they have the tiebreaker, meaning the Packers would have to win 1 more game than the Vikings by the end of the year to win the division, hence they will basically be 3 games behind them, instead of tied. It's a huge game for many reasons. And no Brett, it's not just 1 of 16 (as he said on Wednesday's media day). It's worth 3! Plus payback...
